woke up at 10am as usual.. went to watch hannah montana season 1. i wana complete it early.. went out at 12pm to lavender for lunch.. had dim sum coz my brother tagged along for the 1st time in 2mths so my mum wanted to treat him something better to make him come along whenever we went out..
went to simlim to kai kai and some of the shops were closed as they were participating in the
pc( fair.. my dad bought a dry cabinet for the camera and it was not so heavy and it was damn light though i thought it was damn heavy..
went to Pc( show after that to take a look at smthn.. bags for camera.. it was very crowded but nt as much as 2005 national day.. ( my bad experience) at suntc city just be4 the escalator.. some damn MIC was talking behind me.. they were saying in chinese " i dun know y singaporean love waste time queue-ing.. even go up escalator also wana queue.. buy food also wana queue.. does it mean its better? wo bui hui jui de (i dun feel so) "..
i dun know y they even went to the PC show in the 1st place.. since they dun even wana queue for the escalator pls go home.. seriously singapore have so many social problems with MIC.. there are a lot of proud MIC who look down in singaporeans and i dun know y even we should try our best to attract their "talents" by easily granting citizenship.. they are from china and their hearts still belong to china. they also believe that singaporeans are 2nd rated..
some dun even integret to our society and basically have no knowledge on how singapore works.. some of them still feel as an outsider or superior to singaporeans.. Are we not doin enough to make them feel at home or basically it is their ego of being the single child of their homeland acting up?
i stress some becoz not all are all that bad.. most are quite ok but there are a lot of blacksheeps spoiling their image as foreign talents..
although our textbooks teach us a lot on our past however in recent years it have changed to teaching on y others fail and we have suceed.. thats my brother's new social studies text book..
singapore grant citizenship to easily.. even to those who are dun even know sg or even love sg,to those ppl who dun even need to pass O lvls SS paper (to prove how much u know of sg's histroy ) .. i got a maple friend who is a singaporean but MIC and he have been living here for 8yrs and wts.. he dun even know how to speak english.. can write english in basic form but cant really understand speech nor able to construct sentances from it.. Are we doin enought to nuture our talents? .. althought the pool of talents is small but are we doin enough to retain them in the as our 1st option be4 seeking options overseas?
bought a toshiba 4gb mirco sd but it cant work with the sd card jack so wts..
