1stly THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO WISHED ME HAPY BIRTHDAY

we celebrated my birthday on the 23rd with my friends @ coffee club.. their service was great to the point where the china lady misunderstands biondi's enquires.. i lost confidence in every restaurant's service after that aston's incident.. 3 times and no1 bothered with my "excuse me"

celebrated with mum at fish and co today.. again at the window seat hahaha.. i love window seats.. some pics of it below.. and here are the presents.. biondi delivered the grey goose for my birthday and i bought some shoes as my birthday present.. haha...

aniways enlistment letter came.. enlisting on the 11th of sep.. what a bad day to go army.. =/

bought a new pair of shoes haha.. there was a need for it

the grey goose biondi bought was kinda big and unable to fit into the liquor cabinet

seafood lasagna for biondi and another similar plate for me

my fave is latte =)

kawei and joel had pasta on different plates..

big prawns for dinner =).. lobsters are nicer than big prawns.. i'm starting to like clams and oysters.. used to despise them a lot a lot.. but not anymore

today's post is so short

biondi and i were like predicting the whole movie and what was abt to happen.. 17 again's script is like any other show's script but its special becoz of the way it makes u laugh.. i would rather watch top gear than fifth gear becoz its more interesting and it makes me laugh more..

in the morning mum talked to me abt y my dad dun allow me to drive his car when he is not in the country.. seems to be the insurance policy for the car.. my mum dun know what policies my dad have for the car and my dad was the only one to know what insurances he signed for..

there was a time when my dad was taking very good car of exterior of the car up to a point where the hood got scratched real badly.. this kind of bread and butter car also god ppl scratch one =/ he totally lost the determination to maintain the car well..

he wanted to change cars at one point of time.. but my mum was the one nagging becoz of the commitments u need to have when u pay by instalments. you give around 8k more in interest.. which u can channel it to other things..

it has come to me that my dad has maintained the car quite well, clutch, gearbox and regular maintainces to the car done quite on time.. however this cost quite a lot of money.. and most of them are very hidden.. and recently due to some asses who inflate their claims, insurance premiums are goin up..

HOT HOT HOT.. its just too hot even for me who slps under the sun in the afternoon.. there is nothing to do at home other than nua.. and nua sumore.. i was supposed to pain my room but was kinda moist and it would affect the time for the paint to dry..

did nothing except read books and losing my attention on it after 5mins.. i'm just lifeless.. cant ns come quicker? i hate waiting for things to come.. its just not me.. called them up and they still gave me some ambigous answer.. from june-december 09 wht the shit..

thursday's paper for basic aerodynamics was pretty easy with 20 qns, however propulsion on fri was very difficult indeed.. finally 2 papers have ended.. we had trouble on the 1st day finding the classroom.. well u see, the airport is rather big even when they specify that it was in terminal 2.. most of the staff dun even know where the classroom of caas was located

we took abt 45mins to find the classroom located at a coner.. thats long..

fri went out after the paper to play l4d with ys, joan and company.. well there were 4 females playing too so from past experience, it was more of entertainment rather than the usual high concentration style of play my friends and i have adopted.. the girls really did quite well throughtout the game and it was kinda fun.. probably a few more pratices they would get the hang of the game..

dinner was at pepper lunch as most of the resturants had long queues.. i hate waiting, so did the rest of the group.. biondi was enthu that he might had recieved the letter for enlistment.. turns out to be a some advertisment for the army..

ys rented a fiat plunto.. there is nothing except the design of the car.. which kinda looks like a maserati at the front and it starts to get crapy inside and the rest of the car..

ys drove us to pasir ris to play L4D.. as we found out that the parking lot was kinda small, they decided to move to the upper floors (3rd floor) of the multi story car park after we alighted at the 2nd floor.. ys and wen ming took their time to park and decide how much to put on the coupon..

bevan and 2 of ys's friends waited at the 2nd floor.. some policemen drove up from the 1st floor and stopped to ask us "what were we doin here"..

seriously as every question goes.. that police offer face start to doubt what we were saying.. give that " i dun believe u" face

officer: hi guys.. what are your doin here?
bevan & i: we're waiting for our friend to park and tear the coupons upstairs..
officer: of really? what car are they driving? ( give a jiao bin )
bevan & i: advante & fiat plunto..
officer: ( desperately looking around) where?
bevan & i: there

after some time he left saying nothing..
seriously if we wanted to vandalise or break into a car, we would had brought tools and pant.. but no1 brought anything.. i think if we had utter motive, out voices would expose our intentions.. or we would already ran away..

its not easy to mask your fear and guilt when you speak.. i think they should have a additional lesson on human behavour/ human factors.. being vigilant is good but being over-vigilant is being suspicous of us law abiding youths.. he could had did something more passive like watching us from afar but he just wana be irritating..

played l4d for the last couple of days.. seems like every1 is addicted.. and even joan wana play with us as well.. haha.. even with a car, its kinda hard to play in the city area because of ERP.. any1 has a good lan shop to recomend for l4d that is not within the ERP zone?

went driving for the 1st timr ytd.. nearly crash into a car when i turned out =/ not used to the clutch which was quite light ( dun need to press fully to change gears) all the pedals were very hard..

other than that, i stalled on a hill and geng jiong a bit.. managed to get the car moving with a high rev.. lucky the clutch did not have smoke..u need to be in torque band to get the sense of acceleration though..

went out at 5 to meet biondi.. drove mum and dad down to ang mo kio be4 taking the train down to orchard.. basically it was just walk around and look at apparals.. bought the fast and the furious 4 movie tickets for the 945 show..

the show was with a story line, unlike the previous tokyo drift.. and with a lot of CG making the movie more exciting.. the racing was more like death race.. there was a point when i got confused with the car that crashed.. thought it was van diesel's car as it looked almost the same as his car =/

ytd went clubbing @ butter factory.. joel was quite interested in last week's official opening but we did'nt go coz we predicted some overcrowding problems.. and there really was some overcrowding problems last week..

this week is the same.. free flow drinks till 1am.. didn't drink that much as i din wan the taxi driver to cheat my money =/.. partied till 2am.. biondi was enjoying every minuate of it.. joel seems to be sian sian one.. went home and talked all abt the experience.. i did enjoy it too and had lots of fun as well.. all up except the part where i drank beer =/

note to myself..: NO MORE BEER!!

seriously 3 guys goin to a club feels damn odd if u ask me.. end of story..

any for phuture on the 25th apr?

cant wake up but i still managed to crawl out of bed.. went down with joan , ys, bevan to watch a movie at cathay or GV.. we all ended up not watching anything because of the $8.50 price tag of the movie..

no1 had UOB card so no $6 movie tickets.. played L4D through the afternoon and it was kinda fun.. joan and serene's 1st time and they did quite well.. sat wen ming's car to kovan for lunch be4 goin back home to slp.. damn nua today

I MADE IT
yeah!! YEAH !! YEAH!! yeah!! finally got my driving licence !!!
i feel extremely happy and overjoyed.. but i'm too tired to celebrate..

lets recap what happened today.. its the 1st time i'm not being nervous..

visualizing your tasks seem to cure nervousness.. waiting in the room for 15mins til it was 415.. a man in his late 40's called out my name and i just followed him.. when getting into the car.. toyota vios.. he told me the procedure for the test.. so listen lor

he drove around to the furthest end of the circuit and asked me to turn in.. i did.. however there was a car blocking the way to the parrallel parking.. the tester just say " overtake him and turn in".. i was like "WTF" and was staring at him in doubt..

but he say again : " just turn in".. since he repeated it again i just turn in lor.. had to make the waiting car wait longer.. parrel parking is a diaster.. 1) i forgot reverse.. i moved forward to realised i was in the wrong gear.. 2). i kinda mis que the turning part but it turned out alrite.. with the side mirrors missing the pole by centimetres.. lady luck on my side =)

next was the S cource.. did it like what i usually do- slow.. real slow.. went to the hill next.. no problem.. 3 point turn.. dont know which instructor wana pressure me.. when i was abt to reverse into the space, his car was stationed in front of the space i;m suppose to go in.. i go no idea how to judge distance from the mirrors.. it turned out alright..

this guy was quite annoying asking me to turn in and out. like a maze in the circuit.. i kinda lost concentration at one point and just stop there to let the person move out.. he needed to ask a question" y arent u moving?" the reason i give him is that that guy stopped on the middle line.. if i oversteer i would scratch the car already.. he kept quiet...

i admit during the drive out part i drove damn slowly.. 70kmph road i went 55kmph or so.. and thats slow for the tester.. he did'nt give me any U-turns but give a lot of turns which i see as an attempt to pass me.. the roads were clear of jams and it was kinda smooth for me..

by this time i was abt to fall asleep.. everything was undramatic becoz i was slow.. went back to hear i've pass.. but i dun ahve the energy to celebrate..

nothing much today and ytd.. went to play l4d with ys, bevan zeh zeh and friends.. played at GG, a place with no air conditioning.. because i dont know how to describe how to walk to my poly mates usual haunt so we had to settle to GG..

today was no better.. i was forced i tell u.. i was forced to wake up early at 7am just to go to sch and move the model..

the total time of traveling: 1hr
total time i slpt today:4hrs
total time spent in school: 10mins =.=

overall it was short and sweet.. a bit too short though =/ went to play bowling with vicky nesh be4 goin off..

these few days my eyes cant stop tearing.. nothing made me cry these few days but it just cant stop watering itself.. placed eye mo a few times but to no avail.. dont know what's wrong with it.. occasionally there is pain in my left eye but most of the time it just keep on tearing..

life is damn boring now.. nua for 5 weeks already and its kinda nice.. but still working would definately be more fun though..haha gotta find a job be4 the enlistment letter comes///
