i was forced to wake up early today since
ys was afraid that he would wake up late and miss our 3rd driving lesson. as having seated a a bit back on my 2
nd lesson and my 1st road drive.. i decided to adjust a bit closer. i was pretty scared as we have to drive pass a zebra crossing and
im still uncertain about how fast can a car start..
the clutch was a big problem for me and
ys.. we were still very uncertain on how much clutch is needed.. i drove as he instructed and we drove a straight road to
joan's house near
sengkang.. after a stop, whenever i tried to move the car forward it scared to hear the "
voom voom" sound of engine.. which means i rev too much at the start.. so i decided not to press the accelerator because i wanted a smooth drive off..
however i was wrong.. damn the rev
droped under 1,000 and i thought it was normal.. and it stalled the engine for the 1st time near
hougang.. he then instructed me to stop at a 3 lane side road which was quite wide with no cars to
pratice starting and stopping.. it was damn fun and i finally realise i need to press the
accelerator as i release the clutch padal slowly. i did not stall the car since then but there was still some minor problems as i release it a bit too early sometimes. today we had a rest for fyp becoz vicky was sick and biyong had noodle dreams.. so we decided to call a rest day since the circuit and stuff were working fine.. just some minor fine-tuning.. biyong went to sch as he though that he did not do much so he went to test the delays after his dream.. we still can decide the voltage for the leds..
10V is a bit dim but 12V dc supply provide a overwhelmingly powerfull current that drives the transistor even when the base current is 0. i think we should change transistors already.. =x
