today was the day i should be working at the F1.. got a last minuate call from the ppl and i was in.. and every1 was in as well.. so we rather glad we went in.. we shld had reported at 830 but biondi was late so we register late.. went to change and i looked like a sushi master with the low cut and thin shirt.. its cold and made of low quality and lousy material..
changed and signed in and wrote our name and waited 1hr+ for them to allocate a pass to us.. most of us slpt for the 1hr coz most of us dun usually slp early.queued and waited again to be called up and go down by bus.. went downstairs and took a bus to the granstand.. it was only a short way there..
we were then assigned to different rooms and i was with wen ming... ys's friend.. we 2 were introduced to every1 and every1 was so nice to greet u in the morning.. we then arranged everything for tea break.. actually everything was already arranged for us.. we then went down to take lunch.. we did nothave lunch until 2+ becoz we had to help the them carry the water down for the ushers probably..
ate lunch and went up to watch ppl slowly come in.. i was allocated at jonny walker room so i anticipated that i would be expecting quite a number of cascasian guess.. there were a couple who were early and the air steward, probably, started interacting with the couple.. how do i know they are stewards? not by looks but the way they serve and interact with u..
probably slack till 5+ and when ppl started to pour in at 5+ we were told to quickly have dinner.. went to the rest area for the staff and we had dinner.. a few air steward gave us a lot of cakes left overs and they keep stressing the " dun waste" part so we ate cakes too.. the cakes were splendid as they not only tasted nice as well as looked nice..
there was this lady wh ys's friend accidently called "auntie".. he was talking to the auntie beside me but the air steward thought that it was ment for her.. so she looked surprised and walked away.. went over to take more cakes and there was this tirimisu.. or marchose. well she knows how to make it also.. and know how to eat.. teach me teach me i wan learn.. lols..
went back to find lots of ppl starting to line up to go in.. we served nothing as it was a buffet.. we just serve drinks upon request.. since most of the guest were british they were quite obsessed with jonny walker vodka and most of all BEER..
guess wad? i accidently spilled drinks all over at the watching area.. and it was spilled onto a indian lady... its like wtf la.. 1st time happening to me.. went back to the bar to tell them and they say "good, accidents do happen.." the air steward said " are u ok? do u need to wash up.. now u take this towel and give it to her to wipe.. its alright one.. dont need to worry abt it" this is y ppl like sia service..
went to say a lot of times sorry and she said nvm.. im still feeling guilty.. and after that i did not bother to serve drinks.. and lost confidence as well.. cant really hear what they really order as i was abt to shut down.. but more encouragement from the lady and i slowly regain my confidence and served better.. there was a lot of drinks goin here and there and im very busy..
even the sec4 wads her name ar? valerine started saying that i dun know the cocktail drink names.. aiya she very funny one.. any shuai ge she will go bonkers and goin out to serve drinks and get exposed to 90dB of noise is her favourate.. i wanted to go out but she keep snatching with me..
in between there were many small races with aston martin and other smaller versions of the F1 and there were many crashes when overtaking and turning espically.. even the 1st of the aston martin had a bad dent on the hood.. the aston martin had a low grunt and was not as high pitched as the F1
i had a directview to the grid from where i was standing.. and i can onli make 1 statement.. the grid girls are worse than the ushers... singtel don have the eyes..
the start of the race was damn loud probably 105 dB or so.. with them reving up to 19,000RPm be4 starting out on the grid and its 20 cars.. the noise is insane.. its worse than the apu i walked past last time.. well they started off and zoom zoom zoom.. zoom zoom and be4 i knew it, massa had the fuel hose cliped to his car.. and all the british started cheering.. there was a group of ppl who seated down inside the suite and began talking and keep asking those at the door to keep the door closed
they all cant take the noise haha... most of them outside had to use plastic cups in case they break becoz of the high pitched sound.. haha.. we started serving more ppl and there was this girl who kept helping me with stuff.. she was friendly and helpfull..
accidents
massa- all the british was celebrating
kimi- all was celebrating
in the end all the briton had to agree that alonso was talented and very skilled indeed.. there was a mix of cascausians , hong kongie , japanese and singaporean.. and most of them loved biskit with cheese... haha..
overall every1 had fun and were very encouraging.. now im wishing i had done tourism instead of aerospace..
after we went back.. we met up with one of biondi's new friend.. grace.. she is rather talkative and lots of things to say all the time but she is kind enough to ask every1 around us if we wanted bread to eat for supper.. and wow.. we loved her outgoin style and confidence and i dun think any1 would be as mad as her who can study in TP when she live in jurong.. haha she is addicted to the service industry but it has made her a " no-lifer "
but sadly biondi did not get her number so this time must kao wo le.. must apply for the same hotel as her to get for biondi and allow him to inject "life" into her lols.. she is hinting biondi something but he dun even know =.= lols.. dude learn more abt body language and look ppl in the eyes next time..
