mr heng taught another un-sleepable lesson today.. and even offered to help us find a slot for our proj.. saw the yr 2 who were goin to continue the job of refining our model.. their team are 2 gals and 1 guy so we laughted quite hard becoz u need at least 3 guys to move the model..
went to SRG's wall climbing section after discussing our project report.. walked to the science center.. biondi had completed his climb and it was unsucessful.. using human factors we can explain why SP failed to even complete even though SP had a nice design..
they had to use their robots to make way to the vertical part of the wall and have to climb up 2M to reach the top and climb the ceiling before making a U turn.. SP's idea was to drive using wheels to the wall before climbing up with lots of smacking power to stick to the wall.. instead of using a proximity sensor to detect if its close, they used a switch lols
biondi's bot was quite small but wide to really "chiong" up the wall and lots of back up which was not necessary for a race.. inclusive of the lack of support from teacher and friends, its hard to really complete somthing good from it.. SP rooks outdated but still have the design factor lols
