went to eat at meridian hotel's foodcourt ytd and guess who i saw? alex from my pri sch days.. kinda bringing back good memories of the past.. his dad opened a dessert's stall and his mum opened a stall selling fish soup nearby.. talked abt the past and how we were doin..
it seemed that he dropped out of sec 3 and went into ite.. but he is still doin well becoz he grew out of immatureness and is working at his dad's shop.. i got great respect for what he did and for his family for giving him support even when he drop out of sch by letting him work in his shop while awaiting NS..
well some background abt my pri class, its not as happy situation there.. i was in the last class.. we were that type who care less abt sch work and cared more abt playing after school.. had lots of fun i got to admit but i'm just glad i was taught well by my parents..
i could tell the difference between right and wrong, black and white.. however even in pri sch, some of my friends stole and made nuisence of themselves in the nearby seven eleven.. pri sch was the most memorable days as i really had lots of "childish" fun..irritating the school teachers was the most basic stunt, and irritating the whole block was the more serious stunt.. however i grew out of it quite quickly and went into sec sch with quite a serious attitude.. kinda hate that feeling of sec sch now..
however most of my pri friends did not grow out of their youthful ways.. still think they can live like that and the whole world own them.. and they turn into real ah bengs and gangsters.. from my point of view, if u love to do it, why not? we all can still be friends, i dun judge..just becoz u are an ah beng i dun make friends with u, its really childish to do that.. but it seems my friend grew out of it during his sec 3 days and really worked hard becoz he dun wan that type of life anymore.. he is very fortunate to have supportive family..
i heard from him, er some1 became a body builder, the girls in my class became horizontally challenged, 2 of my pri sch friends are dating each other, 1 got married, 2 got children, er 2 doin community service, i was with my eyes wide open to hear that some classmate i had in pri 4 had a kid.. 1 yr old to be exact.. my thoughts was.. WTF..
well life is very unexpected and it was an eye opener for me to find out how most of my pri sch friends were actually doin.. all doin things which they liked in life.. there is no manual in how u must live it.. just live it base on feelings and personal goals, most importantly u need to enjoy what u are doin..
